We recently met up with Sally + Mark to document their Crow Hill Cottages Wedding. It’s a fantastic venue that allows family and friends to stay on one site creating a lovely atmosphere. Everyone buzzing around in the morning preparing for the main event. It had been raining all week but the morning of the wedding we were met with amazing sunshine and blue skies. Tim met up with Sally and her bridesmaids in the main cottage. This bedroom was amazing and the view outside the window was pretty good too.The shoes on the left are the shoes that Sally was going to originally wear, the trouble was they were damaging the dress due to being quite sharp so Sally opted for the shoes on the right. It’s details like this that make the wedding day theirs and special to Sally + Mark. Sally’s dress looked amazing hung on these incredible mirrors.Whilst Tim was playing with shoes and dresses, Paul was photographing half naked men 🙂Sharing a quick moment and a toast before learning to tie a Windsor knot, Paul thinks 🙂Love this shot below from Paul.Back with the girls they were tweaking the dress as the final moments get closer. Both Sally and the flowers look amazing.Love this shot of Sally’s Dad getting his first glimpse of his daughter all ready to rock.Whilst the girls had a little time to relax, the guys were causing maybe driving to the Church in their Land-rover Defender.Cheeky drink…Ready to rock we set off from the Crow Hill Cottages. This is one of my favorite moments at Church weddings. Waiting outside, getting excited and nervous.Inside the sun was entering the stain glass windows creating some fantastic light.Allowing for shots like the one below. Narrow beams of light highlighting areas of the church and luckily the exact spot Sally + Mark are sat.And relax 🙂After some chill out time we call everyone together for a group shot before breaking it down to smaller formal shots, finally leaving just Sally + Mark for some portraits. We love how relaxed and happy they are in this shot below. Some low light action.Sally’s Dad had a spot on speech which brought tears to most of the room.Father Daughter moment, another of our favorites.Even Mark shed a few tears in between the laughs. His brother and bestman said he was going to rip Mark to pieces.. and he did. Say no more 🙂After the first dance which is another of my favorites we set up a photobooth and grabbed some dancing action.
As always, we try to get a slideshow put together for evening guests to check out the days events. Below is Sally + Mark’s slideshow with a few added evening shots to finish off the story. We had an amazing day, everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves which makes our job a lot easier 🙂 Crow Hill is a lovely venue and we looked forward to shooting there again. Have a great honeymoon Sally + Mark and we shall see you soon 🙂
